This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Anthony McDaniel once again. The first time I met Anthony was a few years ago when he returned home to his family after recovering from wounds he received in Afghanistan in 2010. Anthony lost both legs and his left hand. Since that first encounter he has continued to recover and excel. He has taken home many gold medals in the Wounded Warrior Games. On Saturday he returned to the Gulf Coast to throw the opening pitch in a VetSports softball tournament. I felt honored to photograph him once again.
